Press Conference & Rally – October 16th 10am

Come One Come All
This is a time to stand up and be counted.  Media coverage will be impacted by attendance.  People are taking off work for this, it is that important.  Don’t hold back
Press Conference and Rally

Redwood City

2200 Broadway Street (Old Courthouse Plaza) in Redwood City

New polling confirms that the Yes on Prop 8 campaign is beating us by 4 points. But, the electorate is still very moveable.  24% is undecided and lean slightly toward voting NO. This campaign has just begun.  Both sides are up on TV.  The stakes could not be higher.

We must show visible community support for defeating this initiative and protecting the right to marry for same-sex couples! Please join us on Thursday morning.

Speakers include:

·        San Mateo County Supervisor Rich Gordon

·        Unitarian Universalist Reverend Vail Weller

·        STAMP (Stanford Theater Activist Mobilization Project) Founder & Stanford student Amanda Gelender (or other STAMP representative)

·        PFLAG leader Laurie Carter

Thursday, October 16, 10 am.
